About This Product

This 3/4 in. testable reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly is designed to protect potable water supplies from contamination caused by backsiphonage or backpressure. It meets national plumbing codes and water authority standards for use in continuous pressure systems and health hazard cross-connections, such as at the service line entrance. The compact, modular design includes a single access cover for easy in-line maintenance. Constructed with a durable bronze body, it features NPT connections, quarter-turn ball valve shutoffs with tee handles, top-mounted test cocks, two independently operating check valves, captured springs, replaceable check seats, and an internal relief valve to minimize space requirements. An integrated flood sensor with SentryPlus™ Alert technology is included to detect excess water discharge from the relief valve. When used with an optional connection kit, the sensor can send notifications of potential flooding via building management systems or cellular networks.
