About This Product
SharkBite Max push-to-connect stop valves provide a fast, reliable way to connect to PEX, copper, CPVC, or PE-RT stub-outs to control and shut off water flow to fixtures or appliances. The updated design includes a stainless-steel collet retainer for added strength and durability. These valves require no PEX liner, and the re-engineered body allows easier pipe insertion with less force. A single lever quarter-turn handle provides quick control, even in tight spaces. Stainless steel teeth grip the pipe while a specially formulated O-ring creates a watertight seal. The valve can be rotated after installation, and removal is simple using a disconnect tool, allowing for reuse or adjustment.
