SharkBite Max flexible water heater connectors offer a quick and hassle-free way to connect your water heater to existing pipes. Designed with a reinforced stainless steel collet retainer for added strength and durability, these connectors provide a 200 psi pressure rating. The re-engineered body allows for easier pipe insertion without requiring a PEX tube liner. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are needed—simply insert the pipe, and the stainless steel teeth grip securely while the O-ring ensures a watertight seal. The flexible corrugated stainless-steel hose allows for easy installation, even in tight spaces. Available in various lengths (12 in. to 24 in.) and with an optional integrated ball valve shut-off.
