About This Product

The H7RICT insulated ceiling housing is built from aluminum for remodeling applications where the housing will be in direct contact with ceiling insulation. Its integral thermal protector provides safety against overlapping insulation, and the adjustable socket bracket ensures proper lamp positioning. With a 7-1/2 in. height, it fits 2 in. × 8 in. joist construction. The integral flange secures the fixture to the ceiling, and four remodel clips accommodate ceiling thicknesses from 1/2 in. to 5/8 in. UL approved and CSA certified, this housing simplifies any remodeling project.
