About This Product

This 1 in. pressure vacuum breaker backflow preventer helps protect against backsiphonage of toxic or non-toxic liquids in both health-hazard and non-hazard applications. It’s suitable for use in industrial facilities, cooling tower systems, laboratories, laundries, swimming pools, irrigation systems, and similar installations. The unit features a durable bronze body, a spring-loaded check valve, an air relief valve with an opening port, two resilient-seated shutoffs with tee handles, test cocks, and NPT end connections. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 150 psi and an operating temperature range of 32°F to 140°F (0°C to 60°C). An integrated freeze sensor provides freeze-condition alerts when used with a compatible monitoring/alert system. An optional connection kit may be required for integration with building or irrigation management systems.
