This is a book of extraordinary stories: tales of courage, of compassion, of character. The stories are told by some of the finest writers and illustrators practicing their art today. It is stories of people that were the first to get American Express cards when it first came out in 1958. This book was a gift to it’s card members. It has stories of the days of the NAACP, WWII, famous films, Space Missions, etc.
