About This Product

This pressure switch signals a pump to start when system pressure drops to 30 psi (factory set) and to stop at 50 psi (factory set). It is designed for use with submersible well pumps or jet pumps and can be wired for 115V or 230V operation. The switch must be used with a well pressure tank. For proper operation, set the tank air pressure to 28 psi when the tank is empty of water. A low-level cut-off arm automatically shuts off the pump if there is a sudden pressure drop, such as from a leak in the discharge piping or a malfunctioning pressure tank.
