Its modern 5-inch design fits well in living rooms, hallways, kitchens, and bedrooms. Voice alerts clearly state “Fire!” or “Warning Carbon Monoxide!” to specify the hazard detected. Powered by two replaceable AA alkaline batteries (included), it continues protection during power outages. When smoke or CO is detected, the red LED flashes along with a loud 85-decibel alarm to help ensure safety. The detector also includes a test/hush button to check battery status and silence nuisance alarms. Installation is simple with the included twist-and-click mounting bracket.
