Written in 1981. Adventure Tales on one of America’s greatest mountains. Has staining and creases on cover as seen in the pictures.
Adventure tales on one of America’s greatest mountains. Long Peaks is the monarch of the northern Colorado Rockies. It rises 14,256 feet in the heart of Rocky Mountain National Park, 40 miles Northwest of Denver. For as far back as history records, human passions and human adventures have swirled around it’s summit like the wind. The ten stories in this book draw on that history. Though some of the dialogue has been invented in those tales whose characters can no longer tell their stories themselves, all of the tales remain true to the spirit of the facts. Has black & white photos of the people in these stories.
