PrairieGrit is a marketplace, and our sellers are committed to ensuring you are satisfied with your purchase. To protect both the buyer and seller, PrairieGrit has a standard Return Policy that all sellers honor.

Return Period: 30 days from delivery date
Refund Processing Time: 7 business days from receipt of returned item
Return Shipping Costs: Each seller on PrairieGrit has their own shipping policy, but the default is: The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Items must be returned in the same condition as received, or in slightly used condition.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order within two hours of purchase by contacting either the seller, or PrairieGrit customer support. If your order has already been shipped, please follow the steps in our Return Instructions. Return Conditions
We offer returns under the following conditions:
- Return Window: Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery.
- Item Condition: Items can be slightly used or new, and in the original packaging.
- Receipt or Proof of Purchase: Required for all returns.
- Exceptions: Certain products, such as custom or personalized items and hygiene products (e.g., undergarments), are non-returnable unless unopened and unused.
Return Procedure:
- Each seller may have additional return details listed on their product page. Please review the seller’s specific policy before initiating a return.
- If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, contact the seller directly through the ‘Seller Info’ section on product page. If you click on the ‘vendor name’, it will direct you to the seller store. This is where you will find the contact seller section. You can also email them directly.
- Once the seller confirms your return, ship the item back using the original packaging when possible. Pack carefully and consider adding shipping insurance for the purchase price.
- Provide the seller with the return tracking information.
Refunds:
- The seller will issue your refund within 7 days after the returned item is delivered and confirmed to be in acceptable condition (same or slightly used).
- If refunds are issued via personal check or money order, they must be sent in a traceable manner for both parties’ protection.
Exchange Policy
The seller may offer exchanges for incorrect or defective items. Contact them within 30 days of delivery. Exceptions and Special Cases
Defective or Damaged Items: If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact the seller within 48 hours. They will coordinate an exchange or refund.
Incorrect Product: If you receive the incorrect product, contact the seller within 48 hours. They will coordinate an exchange or refund.
Lost Packages: If your package does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, contact us or the seller so we can initiate an investigation with the shipping carrier.
Processing Times
Return Window: Returns must be initiated and shipped within 30 days of receiving the item.
Inspection Period: Once received, returns are inspected within 7 business days.
Refund Issuance: Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 business days after inspection.
