Thelma Resch Limited Edition Porcelain Doll Amanda

Amanda is a 23 inch tall (25 years old) 1993 porcelain doll by Thelma Resche from World Gallery Dolls & Collectibles.

Amanda, the beautiful young country girl who’s walking barefoot through the fields while playing her mandolin, is simply lovely.

The curly fiery red haired, deep blued eyed, barefoot Amanda is dressed in an ivory two layered white lace and cotton bib collar peasant blouse with lace cuffs and snaps at the back. Her deep green floral print ruffled long skirt has ribbons and rosettes at the waist, a layer of ruffles trimmed with ribbon and lace and a lace hem. Her petticoat is a rosy rink duchesse satin with two layers of lace and a ribboned rosette at the hem. She has a crinoline petticoat and matching long knickers with lace hems. A lace trimmed ribbon and rosette on her neck, and a ribbon bow with flowers in her hair compete the sweet ensemble.

Amanda has a posable porcelain head, arms, legs and cloth stuffed body. Both doll and clothing are in excellent condition.

Amanda has been securely packaged, weighed, measured and travels in her original box, with her wrist tag, mandolin, stand and Certificate of Authenticity #338 of 2000.
