This hardwired alarm features a 9-Volt backup and can be interconnected with up to 24 Kidde devices, including up to 18 initiation-style alarms (additional devices not included). Designed with a fuel-cell sensor, it includes a low-battery warning that triggers a brief chirp, while a red LED light flashes every 15 seconds to indicate status.
