About This Product
Two 8 x 16 x 1 in. pleated furnace filters, MERV 8. The pleating and the electrostatic charge together catch dust, pollen, pet dander, mould spores and dust mite debris – MERV 8 is the sensible middle of the range for a house, taking around 90 percent of dust particles without choking airflow the way a very fine filter can on an older blower. Actual size is 7.5 x 15.5 x 0.75 in., which is how filters are always cut. Plan on changing them about every three months.
