About This Product

An Apollo ExpansionPEX hose bibb with a 1/2 in. PEX-A barb inlet and a 3/4 in. garden hose thread outlet – an easy way to fit a new or replacement outdoor faucet. It is a quarter-turn ball valve for drinking water or hydronic lines wherever a shut-off is needed, and its 45-degree angle keeps a connected hose from kinking. The barb has to be secured with an Apollo ExpansionPEX sleeve or a comparable expansion-type sleeve or ring, and a cold-expansion tool is needed to install it; the sleeves, rings and tool are sold separately. It is lead-free brass, rated to 200 PSI and 200 F.
