This replacement downrod and hanger ball assembly is designed for the 92404 44-inch indoor/outdoor ceiling fan and features a matte black finish.
• The downrod suspends the fan below the ceiling, while the hanger ball fits into the mounting bracket and supports the fan’s weight.
• The hanger ball allows the fan to hang level on sloped ceilings and move slightly to reduce vibration transferred to the ceiling.
• The downrod length determines blade height, affecting airflow performance and ceiling clearance.
• The damp-location finish is suitable for covered porches, patios, and other protected outdoor areas.
