About This Product

Please note: this is the receiver only. The remote handset is not included. The receiver and handset must be paired to operate; if you’re replacing only the receiver, confirm your existing remote is compatible and be prepared to re-pair the set. Installation involves line-voltage wiring inside the fan canopy — turn off power at the breaker, and use a qualified electrician if you’re not comfortable with household wiring.

This replacement remote receiver module is designed for compatible 52-inch ceiling fan models 59259 and 59252.

• The receiver installs inside the fan canopy between the household wiring and the fan assembly.

• It receives signals from the handheld remote and controls fan speed, rotation direction, and the integrated color-changing light.

• A working receiver is required for the fan and light to respond to remote commands.

• Because these fan models do not use pull chains, a failed receiver can prevent the entire fan from operating even when the motor remains functional.

• The module is designed to withstand regular use inside the enclosed ceiling canopy.

• Fits matte black model 59259 and brushed nickel model 59252.

• Compatible with UL model 52-PORT.
