About This Product
A pressure-balancing shower cartridge for Posi-Temp shower valves – the part that fails when a shower starts running scalding or ice cold as someone flushes a toilet elsewhere in the house. Solid brass, and it handles both hot and cold through the one body. A twisting cap for loosening the old cartridge is in the box, along with instructions; the cartridge removal tool is a separate purchase and is worth having, because a seized cartridge will not come out without one. This is a pack of 5 cartridges – enough for several showers, or a spare or two on the shelf. Sold as a case of 5; the description and specifications below describe a single unit.
